During my internship at ToTT, I was tasked to design IG stories for the upcoming cooking and baking classes. The goal of these stories was to promote the classes and encourage signups. I used Canva to design and create these stories.

I was told countless times to ensure that consistency (layout and formatting of class details) was present throughout the stories designed. Therefore, I had to search for ways to ensure consistency and at the same time, come up with a diversity of designs for different classes. It was not an easy task, as I had to both design stories and ensuring that the class details were stated correctly. Nevertheless, I was proud of my work.

TEAMBUILDING

During my internship at ToTT, apart from doing stories for upcoming cooking classes, I also did a story to promote ToTT's Teambuilding challenges. This video is a compilation of the stories and the aim of this story was to showcase to our corporate customers the different Teambuilding Challenges that we offer and to encourage corporatesignups for these challenges.

It was fun doing this series of stories as it was something that I had not done before, I had to ensure the words, pictures, and testimonial that I used were powerful enough to persuade customers to signup for our challenges.

During my internship at NYP D'Studio, as the social media manager, creating Instagram and Facebook stories for our sale promotions was part of the job scope. Usually, I create many stories for just one sale campaign.

Components of stories for sale campaigns:

  • Sale Start/First Day of Sale Story

  • Reminder Story

For teaser story, I had to think of creative ways to *hint* to our followers about our upcoming promotions. I always create new designs for each sale promotion and I feel a sense of accomplishment when our followers supports our sale.

OCCASION

When stocks arrive, we have to create an IG & FB story to inform customers that stocks have arrived. I experimented with different ways and angles of taking the products before deciding on which ones to include in the story.

Whenever we receive an overwhelming response from our sale campaigns, we would thank our customers by creating an IG & FB story. By doing this, we give our customers the impression that we value them alot which then encourages repeat purchase.

When a holiday or occasion is around the corner, we would usually create an IG & FB story. We would wish our customers and followers a "Happy Holidays" during Christmas, for example.

We had to create posts for all the sale campaigns that we organise. For every sale campaign, my team and I came up with different designs as much as possible. I had fun exploring the different elements, objects, pictures, and fonts to create a suitable design for each promotion.

Usually, we would create 3 posts for each sale campaign to make our feed look more presentable. Although it was a bit of challenge designing 3 same themed post, I had a fun time experimenting and making things work despite us thinking that it was impossible to do so.

PRODUCT FEATURES

Other than posting about our sale campaigns, we also post product features (during no promotion period).

Each time we do, we try to incorporate some ways which our customers can match their clothes with our apparel. We also shared how our apparel can be worn in different occasions, making them relate to these post and wanting to purchase the products shown.

INFORMATIONAL

Besides posting product and sale related posts, we also post informational, educational, and interactive posts.

We had to find topics, topics that make our followers relate to it and want to find out more. We had to also think of topics related to a particular ocassion such as posting "How to Lo-hei" during Chinese New Year week. Followers can learn a thing or two from such posts and they can actually apply them in real life.

This was our first Tik Tok! We had this genius idea whereby we had to do a Team Introduction Tik Tok, so why not promote our upcoming sale at the same time too! 

For this Tik Tok, we went full creative by sticking our own plastic bag with the D'Studio logo on a piece of cardboard to form a small door. We also thought of multiple ways to present our YAAS collection and we figured that this was the best!

TRENDS VIDEOS

On Tik Tok, the best way to get views and likes is to follow the trend! Therefore we always research on current Tik Tok trends and hop on the bandwagon when the time is right. This way, our account and content will gain more exposure as the Tik Tok has higher chances of appearing on fyp's.

The thing about filming Tik Toks is that it is impossible to film a perfect Tik Tok in just a single take. Nevertheless, I love the times we laugh randomly during filming and whenever we forgot what was our next step, these strengthens the bond of the team.

PHOTOSHOOT

This Tik Tok features the behind the scenes of our outdoor product photoshoot. What we wanted to accomplish through this Tik Tok was to give our followers a glimpse of what is it like conducting an outdoor photoshoot.

Unexpectedly, this Tik Tok went viral and gained 19k views in just a weeks' time! It also managed to earn 548 likes, 18 saves, and 24 shares! Furthermore, it also smashed our most viewed Tik Tok record and almost became our most liked video.
